What is an impossible goal? Simply put:
A goal that doesnât seem possible to achieve. What is your impossible goal? Please share it with me in the comments below.
The One Million Student Vision: A couple of years ago, during an InterNations New Year event, our group was asked to share our impossible goals.
My answer was clear: To use my YouTube channel, @englishteacherdale, to provide English lessons to One Million Students Worldwide. Is it truly possible for a single teacher to reach one million students?
- Can it be done by a teacher who is almost 70 years old?
- Can it be done by a teacher recovering from a serious medical condition?
The answer is yesâif you have the willingness, the passion, and the desire to get it done. But a teacher cannot accomplish this alone. It requires a community to make it possible. To track our progress, YouTube Analytics will keep accurate, transparent records of every single student we reach.
It remains a massive goal, but you should never count out a teacher's ability to do the impossible. What We Have Already Accomplished: We are not starting from scratch.
To date, Teacher Dale has already taught English to thousands of students across 60 countries worldwideâboth online and face-to-face in international classrooms. Since returning from Asia last year, our momentum has accelerated:
- Co-founded The Global Language Community.
- Launched our official website at glcunity.com.
- Earned a professional certificate in Entrepreneurship in Emerging Nations from HarvardX.
To expand our reach to even more English learners, I began stepping into new areas of instruction. I attended real estate investing training, including an exclusive, invite-only live seminar in San Diego, California, in December 2025.
This journey led to advanced training, culminating in becoming a licensed real estate associate broker in Colorado and signing a contract with Keller Williams Park Meadows in Lone Tree, Colorado, in 2026.
To deepen our international ties, I also traveled across Spain and the United Kingdom in May 2026 to connect with people personally, mirroring my previous work in Asia. Merging Networking, Real Estate, and Education:
Why do these different fields matter to our main mission? To teach one million students, we need massive support. In professional networking, we call this outreach. In real estate, it is called lead generation. In education, it is building a movement.
These are the exact operational steps required to reach an "impossible" milestone. Teachers do the impossible every day. With that spirit, I want to formally introduce you to Teacher Turtle.
Teacher Turtle has already made one of my lifelong dreams come true. I have always wanted to be a cartoon character, and now I directly produce the educational lessons taught by Teacher Turtle on YouTube.
